20 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this class, students will be going on a journey inside their own minds! There will be a *brief* introduction, so that students can see and say hello to the teacher; after that, everyone will sit or recline with their eyes closed, for the remainder of the meditation. Learning Goals
Through the use of meditation, visualization, calming music, and guided breathing, students will learn that it is possible to create a calm environment in their own mind, no matter what's happening in the world around them.

Supply List
Students should have a quiet place where they can be comfortable (reclining, or seated). Provide pillows, bean bag chair, blanket, bed, couch...whatever you've got! Let the student decide what is most comfortable, and let them prepare their own space.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
As the lead (and only) Summer Yoga Camp instructor at the University of California Irvine (UCI), I have seen the powerful calming effects of meditation, on young minds!
Watching students go from bouncing off the walls into deep calm, is a marvel to behold; something I know parents are desperate to experience, in these stressful and unprecedented times.
