Use code WILSONKINGDOM5 for $5 off your first week! The animal kingdom is WILD and is full of incredibly unique animals. Taxonomy is the study of how we categorize and compare these organisms and their relationships. In this class, we leave no stone unturned and explore all types of animals, one group at a time. From antelopes to sharks to leopards to kangaroos, animals deserve to be appreciated and protected. If your student loves to think, read, and talk about animals, this is the class...
Students will increase their knowledge of zoology through a study of the most significant classes and orders in the animal kingdom.
I have my BS in Biology (focus on wildlife ecology) and a Master's degree in Science Education. By day, I am a high school biology, zoology, and environmental science teacher. Before teaching, I worked directly with animals in research, sanctuaries, aquariums, and science museums. I have cared for and educated the public on a variety of animals from monkeys to exotic butterflies to anemones to poisonous frogs to baby seahorses. I love zoology and giving students the chance to expose themselves to more specialized topics.
