Description
Class Experience
Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking. Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing. Use knowledge of language and its conventions when writing, speaking, reading, or listening. Demonstrate understanding of figurative language, word relationships and nuances in word meanings.
After most classes, the teacher will post a practice sheet so that students are able to practice the skills taught in class. Homework is optional, but learners may submit them and the teacher will grade and return before the next class.
It is suggested, but not required that all students have a notebook/paper and a pencil to take notes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
