Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner Level
I will teach students through the fundamentals of art. They will feel like they are exploring a new place as the content of the lesson will explore local artists, landmarks, and even art mediums specific to the area taught. The culture of the area will be explored too such as the foods eaten at that place. I will teach them how to draw with no prior experience necessary, paint, and also use digital mediums like a tablet to draw as well. I have 11 years of teaching experience, 4 of which were spent teaching online. The beauty of online education, is student scan be brought to virtually travel and see places they may not have before.

Learning Goals

Students will learn the basics of Drawing, Painting, and digital art media through drawing on a tablet while virtually traveling to one new place every class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have taught Art in the Public Education Sector for 11 years and loved teaching mediums from drawing and painting to clay and photoshop to all my students. I have taught students from pre K all the way to High school and even Adult Painting Classes too. I have taught students of all ages, skill levels, students with special needs, and students from all cultures and socieconomic backgrounds. The beauty of being a teacher is working with kids from all over the world and learning from them along the way. However, I am excited to burst out into that big world and bring my new students with me on traveling adventures so we can explore art and cultures together!
