Do you have a learner who needs more guidance with writing complete sentences with details? In this ongoing class we will focus on journaling weekly, putting ideas into sentence form, and adding details. This class is geared towards students who are beginner writers and the max students will be 5. This small group class setting will allow me to provide each student with adequate guidance and help. Each class I will have prompts and/or pictures on the screen. I will provide students with sentence starters and guide them through getting their thoughts onto the page. We will work on adding details into writing. This class is very guided, encouraging, and fun! We will work on developing a love for writing and stronger writing skills. This ongoing class will consist of 17 week's of lessons, you can join or leave at any time based on your schedule.

Parental Guidance
This class if for beginner writers. Students need to have writing skills and be able to write a complete sentence. I will provide guidance and sentence starters.

Hello! 
I'm Amanda Fischer and welcome to my classroom. I am a state Certified teacher in Elementary Education K-6 and a K-12 Reading Specialist. Throughout the last ten years I have taught all levels of students ranging from elementary to college. 

I hold a BA in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist. I have taught all subject areas, tutored students of multi ages, and helped high school students who read below grade level. I attend professional development classes each year to continue my education. 

I absolutely love teaching and building positive relationships with my students. It is my goal to make learning engaging, positive, motivating, safe, and stress free.I strive to meet each students educational goals and needs based on their specific learning style. My area of expertise include reading, writing, goal setting, time management, and communication. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy life on the ranch with my family. I enjoy barrel racing, horseback riding, caring for my animals, and traveling. I look forward to meeting you in class.
