In this once a week class that runs for 8 weeks, students will journal and draw on various topics
Class experience
In each class, I present a new and fun topic for students to play with in writing. We'll have plenty of time for me to introduce and learn about the topic, allow students to write, and then have time for students to share something that surprised them from their writing! We also review true and false, misconceptions, facts and we draw as well. Week 1 - All about plants. Students will write about a given journal topic after we explore it together as a group Students will explore their thoughts, ideas, and feelings about a given topic. Students will connect with their own beliefs, ideas and feelings through writing. Students will share their experiences if they feel inspired to tell the group about their experience. Students will listen to the experiences of others carefully and respectfully.
Students should bring a journal or notebook (or loose paper) and something to write and draw with.
