Each week in this on-going class, students will be presented with a creative writing prompt, coached and encouraged through the writing process and given the opportunity to share their work with the class.

Description
Class Experience
Learners will: -exercise their creativity -brainstorm ideas -practice critical thinking -develop various writing forms -express ideas -share their work with peers (if desired) -encourage and learn from others
1 file available upon enrollmentLearners will need: a notebook to write in (any kind will work, but suggestions for some fun options are available upon enrollment) pencil with eraser crayons or colored pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There are no formal assessments for this class, but students will end up with a notebook filled with entries showing their progress over time.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
