In this fun and interactive writing class, students will be given a series of self-esteem-based writing prompts to work on. Such prompts may include: What do you think is your greatest talent? or What makes you unique? These prompts will encourage students to express their feelings and share their thoughts. I will give a time limit, and students are encouraged to at least write four to five sentences. After the time allotment, I will ask each student to share what they wrote. I may ask students to expound on their writing during or after class. I will also encourage students to ask questions about spelling and listening to the way their sentences sound. Writing is a passion of mine and I can't wait to share it with your students as well.
Learning Goals
Leaners will learn to be more confident in themselves and their writing abilities.
