In this ongoing class, learner directed, I hope to provide a positive learning environment where students will feel comfortable and safe to interact with other students. Each week the students will be deciding what we talk about during class. This class will have discussions on the different forms of Jojo Bizarre Adventure , whether it is the tv shows, movies, or the video games. While the class is going on, students will have multiple opportunities to interact with the class. During our discussions, learners will be developing their communication and listening skills while building friendships along the way. A example of what the weeks may look like: week of 01/18: Which arc did you like/dislike the most? week of 01/25: Who is your favorite villain/hero? Which hero/villain did you think fell short? week of 02/01: Which adaptation did you enjoy/dislike watching the most? week of 02/08: What do you hope for the future of Jojo Bizarre Adventure ? Note: this weekly plan is open to change because the students may want to discuss something different than the topics listed.

Jojo's Bizarre adventure is rated for older age groups. Some of the content we discuss may include romance, complex themes and violence.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! My name is Christian Gonzalez and I am a college graduate with my AA. My goal is to combine interesting and engaging topics with social skills to help all my students improve on their communication prowess.
I have an absolute passion for sports and video games. I have mentored and participated in local sports leagues for 8 years. I enjoy playing and watching basketball, soccer, football, and bowling. I won multiple awards and medals for my participation.
I am Autistic and have ADHD so I know what learners who are similar to me might need. Whether that is visuals cues or just things that make the experience more engaging. I have worked in social groups with people who have disabilities. I have also volunteered with the special Olympics since 2016 and have worked with many athletes on different levels.
I hope to use the knowledge I have from participating and watching sports to make my classes interesting and enjoyable for the students to learn. I look forward to teaching your child in one of my classes!Reviews
