Class Experience

We will start out class with our warm-up. We will stretch and learn a few hip-hop tricks. (Approximately 5 minutes.)  We will learn a routine to an upbeat song for about 20 minutes. Throughout class we take a break to catch our breath.

Your child will learn basic movements of Hip Hop and movement. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!

I have been teaching for 20 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

Because this is a one time class there will be no homework but I do encourage your student to practice the routine and stretches we did in class!

No supplies needed.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Encouragement and feedback will be given throughout the class.

25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
