Description

Class Experience

Come join Johnny Appleseed  in this exciting Apple Planting Adventure as we learn all about apples.  Students will be invited to participate in a variety of songs and movement activities as we head out west to help Johnny Appleseed plant the apple trees. Students will then help Johnny sort the apples by size (big or little) and color (red, yellow, green).  Students will also practice counting the number of apples in each set as well as identifying which set has more or less apples.  Students...

Students will learn be able to:
1.  identify the colors of the apples.
2.  sort the apples by color.
3.  sort the apples by size (big/little)
4.  count the number of apples in each group.
5.  compare the groups to see which group has more apples.

Students will be provided with an optional homework assignment and craft activity.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
