Job Search Essentials: Resume Design, Applying, and Interviewing

Topics that will be covered:

During each one-on-one session, the student will work with the instructor to:
•	craft a compelling résumé,
•	prepare a cover letter template (to be customized for each job application), and
•	prepare a thank-you letter template (to be customized for each job application).

The student will also learn:
•	about traditional and digital job search methods,
•	ways to maintain a positive mindset during the job search process,
•	how to have confidence in their abilities and what they have to offer a potential employer,
•	how to stand out in applicant tracking systems,
•	how to prepare for virtual and in-person interviews,
•	professional communication skills
•	post-interview etiquette & follow-up, and
•	how to conduct themselves after they have accepted a job offer.

Class Structure
Each session is a 1-on-1 model, so your learner will receive my undivided attention, tailored to his or her needs.
