Beginner Level
In this beginner level one lesson Self Paced class you will learn how to make your own handmade beaded element necklace. These are great to wear or give as gifts to family & friends. Choose your favorite color(s) & match them to your outfit!

This is a SELF PACED class - which means there are NO LIVE CLASSES. Instructional videos will be posted for your learner to watch and create along to, as well as optional classroom discussion. Students will be expected to also post photos of the work they have completed. The more your learner participates the more value they will get from this class!

NOTE: Learners should have the dexterity to use jewelry tools without assistance.

For this class you will need:
* round nose jewelry pliers
* chain nose or flat nose jewelry pliers
* flush wire cutters
* 18 or 20 gauge soft wire (copper, aluminum, silver)
* beads with holes through the middle that fit your wire
* a pre-made chain with links that can be opened & closed

Jewelry making involves the use of metal that could possibly have sharp edges, as well as tools that can pinch & cut. By signing their learners up for this class guardians are giving their approval for their learners to use these items for this class.
