Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one time class, students will follow the scientific method to create a jellyfish in a bottle. The teacher will start by posing a question to the students for them to consider as we move through our research about jellyfish. Students will learn facts about how a jellyfish swims, what they eat, why the sting, and much more! After our research, students will be able to come up with predictions about the upcoming experiment/project. They will be able to test their hypothesis as we create our jellyfish in a bottle. Students will also have the opportunity to share their observations and their conclusions. This is a hands on, highly interactive class!

*Some of my one time classes are repeated in my ongoing The Science Lab class, but repitition is great for little learners!*

Hello to Everyone! My name is Miss Meghan and I can’t wait to meet your child. I enjoy teaching a variety of classes for preschool and early elementary ages.

I hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. At the beginning of my career, I worked extensively with children with autism in home settings designing programs to help students access the world around them in an empowering way. After my oldest daughter was born, I became a licensed childcare provider creating a home away from home for many children to grow and learn. When my youngest daughter was born, I decided it was time to explore other options and that is how I landed at Outschool. I am so grateful for this opportunity and love meeting new learners from all over the world.

I have a passion for instilling a love of learning in young children through exposure, messy play, and fun! I strongly believe that letting children delve into learning at their own level and allowing for different types of learning styles sets children up for a life long learning journey.

In addition to teaching on Outschool, I also homeschool my two daughters who are my pride and joy. I feel so grateful to have a career that I love that also affords me the opportunity to spend time with my own children as well. In my free time, I enjoy art, brainstorming new lesson ideas, cross stitch, and reading!

I offer science, art, language arts, social studies, math, and social classes for preschool and kindergarten age groups, as well as social groups for neurodivergent! Please feel free to message me with any questions!
