Description
Class Experience
In this 5-week multi-day class, students will gain a foundation of the French language. This class will use comprehensible input theory to introduce new vocabulary. Comprehensible input is a theory that a new language can be learned by reading text just one level above the learners. Through immersion in text, oral language, and grammar, students will lay a great foundation for French learning. Miss Raz holds a bachelor’s degree in French (education) from University of Jamestown. After finishing her degree, Miss Raz moved to central France for a year where she taught English to primary students. Furthermore, Miss Raz has taught French at a community college.
Students will complete an activity to support the day's learning.
