Javascript is a very popular programming language of the web and one of the easier ones to learn. In this class, learners will learn through various small projects which help them build their final project in the end. 

Students need to use a computer for this class. We will use an online editor. For best results students can use 2 devices , one for the zoom meeting and the other for coding. 
Students should be able to read words for this class. 

Day 1: Overview of HTML and CSS 
Understanding basic tags and designing a simple webpage to get a hand of programming, drawing shapes on the web.

Day 2 and 3: Introduction to Javascript 
Understanding dynamic webpages, understanding events in JS and creating event buttons

Day 4 and 5: Operators and variables 
Working with arithmetic operators and using let and const

Day 6 and 7 : Comparison Operators and Conditional Statements
Write a programme to know what day it is using conditionals and use the logic of a draw in a scores.

Day 8 and 9 : Loops in JS
Understanding different loops in Javascript and using them in simple projects 

Day 10 : Functions
Understanding what are functions and creating simple functions to strengthen the concept. 

Day 11 and Day 12: Stop Watch 
Students will create a stop watch , which you can add for their games 

Learners will be asked to apply logic and write parts of the code themselves. They will be taught how to debug the codes too. These are not lecture classes and so the teachers will be interacting by asking the learners for examples and helping them write codes on those. 
These classes flow as per the understanding of the learners and so it would vary in complexity for the specific group.
