This is the fourth class in a long series designed to help the student become fluent in Japanese. They will study in an upbeat and interactive way, where all students will feel comfortable and engaged.

Class experience

This class is taught in English.
After this lesson, students will be able to

Modifying nouns with adjectives
-where to add adjectives when it comes to nouns
Learn about likes and dislikes
-Learn to describe what you like and dislike
-have nouns to describe it.

You will definitely enjoy this class. We will play games, have PowerPoint slides, group discussion and real life situations to solidify what to say in certain situations. I want you to feel comfortable and engaged while learning.

There is a pre-requisite. You will either need to know how to read, write and speak Hiragana and Katakana before this class or take Hiragana and Katakana classes simultaneously. You will also need to have taken Road to Fluency Beginner Class 1, 2 and 3 or know all the material in this class.

Please bring an open mind and be ready to learn.
I received my undergraduate degree in the Japanese language, culture, and history. I also earned my Master's degree in K-12 education. I studied abroad at Nihon University in Tokyo as well as worked as an English teacher in Niigata, Japan. I was able to see what I learned firsthand
Homework Offered
Students will be given worksheets to print out after the class to reinforce their learning. Because this class meets once, this is optional and they have the choice to send their homework to me to look over.
Assessments Offered
I do not routinely give an assessment at the end of the class. However, if a student or parent would like an assessment, they may request one by emailing me.
