After this lesson students will be able to 1. Learn expressions for when and what "ummm..." means 2. Be able to use the formal and informal yes (there are different words for different age groups) 3. Be able to say this (near me), that (near you), that (over there), or ask which one 4. Be more specific when describing things (this clock (near me), that phone (near you), that computer (over there), and ask which one) 5. Be able to ask who owns an object is (ex. Whose phone is this?) 6. Be able to ask how much something costs
I received my undergraduate degree in the Japanese language, culture, and history. I also earned my Master's degree in K-12 education. I studied abroad at Nihon University in Tokyo as well as worked as an English teacher in Niigata, Japan. I was able to see what I learned firsthand.
Homework Offered
Students will be given worksheets to print out after the class to reinforce their learning. Because this class meets once, this is optional and they have the choice to send their homework to me to look over.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
