FLEX FORMAT: 🔹 Video Content: Weekly videos with a step-by-step breakdown of the art assignments are posted. Some videos will have a 15 to 25 minute duration. The work time for the student will be roughly an hour long. Students will review the video. 🔹 Discussion Prompt/Question/Check-in: Students respond to a weekly discussion prompt and/or question(s) posted by the teacher. 🔹 Complete Artwork: Students spend time completing their sketches. 🔹 Submit Artwork: Students are required to post photos of their completed sketches in the classroom on the designated post. Sharing artwork is essential in a self paced class. 🔹 Feedback: Mrs. V offers feedback at the request of the students. Individualized feedback will not be given unless directly requested.

Students will be painting throughout this class. Please set up an area where your child can use the computer while working with paint. Students will be encouraged to work on an angled surface. Please prop their paper/sketchbook so it can be at an angle. They need to be able to work on both a flat surface and an angled surface. You can attach the watercolor paper with tape to a board and prop it or use a book to prop against. This is highly recommended as we will use gravity to manipulate the paint.
