Discover Japan through its language and culture! ✨ Learning Japanese in this self-pace course is at the learner’s independent pace, own time, and convenience. Learners will follow along as if it was a set of on-going live classes. Learners may watch the pre-recorded videos (containing Teacher Lynn リン 先生), complete the writing and vocabulary practice, homework activities, and write their in-class assignments any time during the course! There are no live zoom classes. In this camp, students will be introduced to 1 of the main Japanese writing systems - Katakana. Then, students will decipher a series of Katakana vocabulary, including animals, clothing, countries, and fruits to their English meaning! Students will be surprised by the Japanese they already know! In the last lesson, learners will review and play games. 🎮 This course is 4 lessons long. Videos, Discussion, Games and/or Worksheets will be provided every lesson. ~ TOPICS: Lesson 1: Intro to Japanese Katakana 📚, Animals 🐶 Lesson 2: Fruit Vocabulary 🍊 Lesson 3: Countries Vocabulary 🌍 Lesson 4: Clothing Vocabulary 👘, Review and Games 🎁🎮 🌟 Teacher Lynn (リン 先生) will: 1) Provide the videos lessons containing Teacher Lynn (リン 先生) ▶️ 2) Create discussions on the in-class assignment of the lesson 💬 3) Attach Homework worksheets to the classroom 📝 4) Provide vocabulary practice on Memrise and Quizlet, and game on Kahoot 🎮 Learners are highly recommended to participate in the class activities, questions, and games (the Outschool platform classroom, Memrise, Kahoot, Lexilogos, Quizlet and Youtube are used). Learners will also be recommended to scan or take photos of their completed homework activities.
