Hello and こんにちは (Konnichiwa)! Welcome to our Japanese Flex class 3! This course is for 4 weeks and will be taught in English and Japanese so learners feel comfortable and excited about learning a foreign language. From paper puppets, interactive flashcards, felt stories, book theater, worksheets and coloring sheets, we will enjoy hands-on learning with my handmade materials. 4 lessons//4 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1Extended Family and Counting to 20Let's learn how to say "Thank You" with paper puppets, introduce more family members with a felt board activity, count to 20 with a game and review with a cut-and-paste worksheet!Week 2Lesson 2School SuppliesWe will learn how to say "Your Welcome", review numbers with a white board and learn about school supplies.Week 3Lesson 3Meal time and ColorsIn this lesson, we will learn how to say phrases during mealtime with a story, a game with numbers, colors with bubble gum and a review worksheet!Week 4Lesson 4Who's is this?For our final lesson, we'll review with puppets and games. Then we'll move onto our main lesson which is the conversation, "Who's is this?' and "It's mine" with family members.
Homework Offered
I like to provide a printable coloring sheet or fun worksheet. It's not required but a way for students to review the lesson and share their work with the class and me! :)0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Learners will need to take Japanese 1 and 2 before moving onto this class.
7 files available upon enrollmentYou will need a printer to print out the worksheet or sometimes parents will draw their own version of the worksheet for their learner...either works! :). Also, markers, crayons or coloring pencils and sometimes we will use glue, scissors and/or tape.
