Class Experience
Easy Cooking life skills. Expand cultural knowledge of food: Expand your palette Socialize with like-minded learners with similar interests!
Ingredient List: - Sushi Rice (MUST COOK BEFORE CLASS. We won't have time to cook the rice during class. Sushi rice is the best. Other types of rice may not stick properly) - Nori Seaweed - Salt - small bowl with water - sesame seeds FOR THE FILLING (You can choose one or many types of fillings for your onigiri) - Canned tuna mixed with a bit of Mayo (this is probably the easiest if you don't have an asian grocery nearby) - Flaked Salmon - Umeboushi (Japanese Pickled plum) - Konbu no tsukudani (Simmered Kombu)
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
