Led by a native Japanese instructor, this engaging 11-week course helps kids build confidence in speaking and reading Hiragana. With small class sizes (max 5 students), learners get personalized attention and plenty of speaking and talking.

Beginner Level
1, Practice useful Japanese (Hello, how are you? I am fine, I am not well, Good morning, Good afternoon, Good night, Yes, No, Excuse me, I don't understand, Please repeat again, and more). 2,Practice speaking the basic Japanese alphabet (46 hiragana letters). We use music. I will call on you one by one to read aloud sometimes. 3, Hiragana Writing Review: Review the 5 hiragana letters we learned in the last class with a quiz. 4,Write and memorize 5 hiragana letters in a focused environment. Master the correct stroke order and improve learners' handwriting in a hard pen style. ★Class Description This class introduces young lerner to the basics of Japanese by focusing on Hiragana, everyday phrases, and correct pronunciation. A perfect first step into the language! ★Class Experience Students will engage in interactive activities, practice speaking, and learn Hiragana writing step-by-step, building confidence with every session. ★My teaching style Patient, engaging, and encouraging. I make sure each student feels supported while having fun as they learn. ★Students will Master the stroke order and pronunciation of some new Hiragana letters per session. Learn practical phrases and greetings to use confidently. Develop a strong foundation for future Japanese learning.

I am new to the Outschool platform! I am a native Japanese speaker and hold a minor in Japanese language from the City University of New York. I have extensive experience teaching Japanese, having conducted over 2,400 online classes and guided around 70 students ranging in age from 7 to adults. I currently continue to teach students daily on various platforms, with the majority of my students being teens aged 13 through high school.
In addition to teaching, I bring over 10 years of professional experience working for a major sports brand corporation in Japan. My time in Japan’s group-oriented work culture has helped me develop strong leadership and communication skills, which I apply to my teaching approach.
