Class Experience

No homework unless parents/child wants to practice more. In this case the worksheet or a video of the exercise will be sent to the parents.
Each student will need an abacus (Soroban of 13, 15 or 17 rods) for every classe. Please, order it ahead of time. Option 1: Option 2: Also you can make your own search and buy an abacus (Soroban of 13, 15 or 17 rods) of your own choice. For best results, please use laptops or stationery computers for this class. Tablets won't provide a good view for the student and the teacher. Students should sit at the table in a quiet environment and have a good view of a part of the table surface where abacus is. As mentioned above laptops work the best for this. Students would need one sheet of paper and a pencil for every class. For the first class students will need an Abacus, black Sharpie, a sheet of paper and black and any other color (their favorite) markers for drawing.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
