Class Experience
*NOTE BEFORE ENROLLING* NEW STUDENTS MUST GO THROUGH SAKURA TO PROGRESS FORWARD. ENROLLING IN TAKE OR MOMIJI WILL BE A REMOVAL FROM THE CLASS AND INSERTED INTO SAKURA. PARENTS MAY SCHEDULE A PLACEMENT TEST WHERE THE TEACHER WILL GAUGE THE STUDENT ON THEIR JAPANESE. AFTERWARDS, THEY WILL PLACE THAT STUDENT WHERE THEY BEST FEEL THE STUDENT WILL BEST SUCCEED. PLACEMENT TESTS NEEDS TO BE SCHEDULED THROUGH THE TEACHER SO PLEASE CONTACT JOE-SENSEI TO SET UP A TIME TO HAVE THE PLACEMENT TESTS....
The goal is this class is to become more cultural aware of Japanese culture and customs and to make a connection between this culture and traditions in realtion to the Japanese language. Our goal is to understand why certain aspects of the Japanese language and culture can be interlocked.
I lived in Japan for 10 years and, within that capacity, particiated in both local and regional events and activities.
Homework consists of question and answer type worksheets, vocab sheets, and writing paragraphs on our topics.
Notebook Pencils
Assesstments will be both pop quizzes and regular quizzes based on our learned content.
