My teachings are a collection of my time living in Japan, my degree and all of my time spent teaching and learning from my Japanese students here in Boston. I make it a point to learn about the various perspectives of my students and give them ample opportunity to teach as well. The result is that over time my preconceived ideas about Japan and Japanese culture have been tested and now I often find myself asking questions and doing research so I can share the wonderful culture and history with those around me!
