In this class, learners will learn about Dr. Jane Goodall, along with Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots program. Roots & Shoots is the global youth program of the Jane Goodall Institute, and was founded by Dr. Jane Goodall with a group of students from Tanzania. This class introduces a service learning campaign project to the learners that can easily be accomplished with family and friends, even while social distancing in place. Learners will learn how to make a positive impact on our planet through compassionate actions.
Homework Offered
Learners will be encouraged to complete the service campaign introduced in class. Completing said service campaign will grant the learner a certificate of completion, and the ability to upload their project/certificate on the Roots & Shoots website to inspire others!Assessments Offered
