This class looks at the Polish citizen Jan Karski, his involvement in the Polish underground resistance during World War II, the experience of the Polish nation during the war, and the first accounts of the Holocaust brought to the Allies. His story begins with the outbreak of World War II in September 1939 and follows him through the war as he works as a courier for the Polish government in exile.

Parental Guidance
This class examines the National Socialist (Nazi) movement in Germany and its military activities. Discussion and content may be unsuitable for young students. Photos included in power points may include Nazi symbols such as a Swastika; while Nazi ideology is not portrayed or promoted in a positive manner, this image may nevertheless cause discomfort to viewers. Additionally, this course looks at the Polish experience in World War II. There is violence, and anti-Semetic/ holocaust themes examined which may be distressing for young learners. This class is not recommended for students under 14 years old.
