My name is Melanie Hughes. I am an elementary teacher, and I have taught in public schools for 29 years. I have certifications in Early Childhood – 6th grade, Special Education, and ESL. Reading is key to being a successful student. One of my favorite parts of teaching is reading to my class or have them read to me. I love when kids enjoy reading, and together we can talk about a book. For this 4 week session, we will read James and the Giant Peach together. Join this group to read and discuss an incredible story about a boy that takes a magical adventure inside a peach with some unlikely friends.
