In this paper and crayon art class, we will create jack-o’-lanterns. We will practice our Practice our drawing, symmetric cutting, gluing and coloring, shading skills with colored paper, crayons and glue stick. Remember parent supervision is required for young children when they work with scissors and/or messy materials such as glue and glitter. As long as materials are ready to go, this class is an easy independent activity children can complete with little or no assistance. As a Montessori teacher, I believe child should be allowed freedom to create their own designs and art creations. I will happily guide and answer any questions as we create our festive project.
Learning Goals
Children can practice fine motor skills cutting, drawing and enjoy the company of spending time making artistic creations.
