In this Halloween art class, we will create a jack-o-lantern sun catchers with tissue paper, black construction paper and clear contact paper! A fun art project that can be displayed year after year.

In this tissue paper, construction paper and contact paper art class, we will create jack-o’-lanterns sun catchers or placemat. We will practice drawing, symmetric cutting, colored paper, crayons and glue stick gluing. Parent supervision recommended required for young children when they work with scissors and/or messy materials such as glue and glitter. As long as materials are ready to go, this class is an easy independent activity children can complete with little or no assistance. As a Montessori teacher, I believe child should be allowed freedom to create their own designs and art creations. I will happily guide and answer any questions as we create our festive project.
Learning Goals
Students can practice fine motor skills cutting, drawing and enjoy the company of spending time making artistic creations.
