Class Experience
In this fun class, we will enjoy meeting new friends, sharing our unicorns and making sparkly slime! We will also listen to a fun unicorn story. I encourage students to bring unicorns and anything sparkly to show the class if they want to. The ingredients for the unicorn slime are both made by Elmer's and are non-toxic and safe. There is a glitter glue, but I do not recommend using it as it can take awhile to form slime. Instead, if you would like to make your unicorn sparkly, just add...
-Elmer's Magical Liquid (1/4-1/2 cup)- this allows us to not need contact solution, borax, or other possible unsafe materials -Elmer's Glue (5-6 oz bottle)- Make sure it is Elmer's brand as I have read other brands do not work well. I have noticed it is easier to make slime using glue that is NOT glitter. The glitter kind can be tricky. It will work but takes more time. Students can add glitter once the slime is at a good consistency. -Optional-glitter to add to your slime -Mixing bowl -spoon (I have found it works best just to mix with your hands. It seems to work better in getting the mixture to the right consistency. -Make sure to have some type of jar or container to keep the slime in when not in use.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
