Description
Class Experience
This one-time class is designed for children ages 3-5 who are brand new to English or have had little exposure to the language thus far. We will cover vocabulary words related to princesses ("princess," "tiara," "castle"), colors ("pink," "blue," and "purple"), and letters and numbers "Aa," "Bb," "one (1)," and "two (2)." This is an immersive English class, so only English will be spoken by the teacher.
We will start the class with a warm-up song. There is another song halfway through the...This class is taught in English.
Students will gain basic exposure to the English language and learn the basics of some vocabulary words, colors, letters and numbers.
There is no homework for this class.
Please print out the two-page worksheet beforehand that I will post in the classroom. Please also bring crayons, markers, or whatever drawing utensils your child prefers. In our segment on colors, I will have the student find some pink, blue and purple items to show. If possible, please have these items ready to show beforehand. If your child has a princess costume or any princess-related toys or dolls, they are welcome to bring those as well.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
During class, I will take notes on the student's strengths and specific areas where they could use extra practice (grammar, pronunciation, etc.). I will send this feedback within 12 hours of the class end time in a private message.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
