Learners will learn/review the meaning of opposites through a series of fun, energetic activities. The teacher and students will discuss "What are Opposites?", and learners will give examples of opposites they may already know. They will then give an antonym (opposite) for given words. The class will brainstorm together to find more opposites to a given word. This is a fun way to improve students vocabulary. Students will review the meaning of opposites and learn that these words are often referred to as antonyms. Students will practice finding more opposites and will work to improve vocabulary through a series of activities.
