The student will learn how to perform a short magic show and the scientific principles behind each trick.
Students are encouraged to try the tricks at home WITH ADULT SUPERVISION!

Shopping List 2 balloons (a parent should inflate ONE balloon before class) 1 dry aluminum can 1 tissue 1 tablecloth or placemat or small towel 1 large bowl 1 ziplock bag (fill 1/2 with water) Some sharpened pencils 1 paper plate or 8-10 inch circle of card stock markers or crayons or colored pencils for coloring 1 20 oz bottle or something similar with a smaller opening 1/2 cup of vinegar or about 100 mL 2 tablespoons of baking soda or about 30 grams 1 funnel 1 spoon Optional rubber band
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
