It's Money Time #1: Learning to Identify Coins and Their Amounts
Class experience
In this course, students will practice identifying these coins and their value-penny, nickel, dime, quarter. I will also introduce the dollar bill. Through a fun song, use of props and a fun "Build a Monster" game, students will enjoy learning about money. We can extend by adding coin and dollar amounts and answer problems like- How many pennies make a nickel? Students will be engaged through the fun game and use of large money props. We can discuss what things we would like to save money...
