US Grade 2 - 4
It’s snowing! During this one-time class, students will engage with a snow theme while socializing with others and practicing reading skills. No worries if it’s not a snow day for school; we will bring the fun in our wintery theme to review parts of speech to make a Mad Lib, practice reading and spelling sight words, read a short story and discuss the theme, and complete a roll-and-draw activity. As the teacher, I will guide the students through the winter activities using reading and inferencing skills. No prior experience is needed for students to participate in class.
Learning Goals
The students will leave class having practiced sight words, parts of speech, and reading comprehension while having fun on a snow day.
