Transform into a superhero of your own creation by starring in a play together with your fellow campers, and participate in plenty of games and art projects exploring different super abilities. This camp is perfect for both those with plenty of drama experience and those wanting to explore the world of drama for the first time....
Campers will develop their confidence and self-esteem. They will also strengthen their drama performance skills.

An original script will be written based on learner suggestions and shared before the second day of camp begins. Campers will be invited to use props and costumes from around their house in their performance. They will also need the following: - approximately four tablespoons of baking soda, water, two small cups, a stack of blank white paper, two paintbrushes, a sponge, paper towel, approximately four tablespoons of grape juice or cranberry juice, a white crayon (must be white), watercolor paints in a few colours, a pencil, a pair of scissors, a roll of scotch tape (or other transparent tape), eight straws, a measuring tape, a set of markers, a paper towel roll, construction paper in a few different colours, a glue stick, string, a one hole puncher, a coffee filter, approximately five pipe cleaners, a clothespin, approximately ten popsicle sticks, a button, a small bottle of white glue, two small wooden beads, approximately five pom poms, a stack of heavy books, two sheets of card stock paper in any colour, two cups of cornstarch, measuring spoons, measuring cups, a bowl, two paper plates, and ribbon.
Parents and guardians may wish to supervise craft and science activities to ensure proper use of supplies and that mess is kept to a minimum. They may also wish to supervise the use of scissors. Campers may optionally use low temperature hot glue guns and this should be supervised by parents to ensure safety.
An original play will be created specifically for this camp. It will be shared through the classroom before the second day of camp begins.
