Class Experience

These lessons are for students whose native language is English, but students who speak other foreign languages can also profit from them.
This is why:

1) Glossaries include pictures; if you recognize the object, you can associate the image and word (in general, images are more stimulating for learning).

2)The use of different routines (such as associating words with words - Italian and English- and images with words and sounds with words) helps with different learning styles and avoids boredom.

3) Topics such as food, everyday activities, animals, plants, and so on have also an emotional interest that attracts attention, helping with the learning process.

A presto!

Class content will include:

Conversational Italian and pronunciation, grammar, as well as Italian culture. I will expose the students to the language, encouraging students with games, music, and instructional videos. Topics include food, travel, music, and daily activities, but can also be developed on the needs of the student - I believe one size doesn't fit all!

I am a patient, enthusiastic, positive, challenging, and motivating teacher. I was once a language student myself. I still remember how I felt while I was learning English; the process was frustrating and, at times, discouraging. Through trial and error, I have learned different strategies on how to learn a language effectively. As a result, I can employ the things I have learned to help you in your Italian-learning journey. I always have a lesson plan, but can be flexible if required.

All are welcome. No prior knowledge is needed.
