Italian Level 10 - Intermediate. Spring Term

This Semester course will help students to achieve a good Intermediate level and improve their ability to write, read and speak in Italian.

Homework
1 hour per week. A whiteboard will be used and shared digitally to the classroom for students to learn and review. Homework will include simple tests to practice. Materials will be provided.
Assessment
There will be engaging conversations together. Students are invited to participate.

Class Experience

SPRING TERM series of 10 classes. Italian level classes for the school semesters have 12 levels. 
Classes in this program are equivalent to the 4th level of INTERMEDIATE.
It includes a series of classes that includes elements of the language, grammar, learning vocabulary and conversation. 

WEEKLY CLASS PROGRAM: 

Class 1 - Week 1:  Reading and Comprehensions Tests.  Review verbs, pronouns, adverbs. 
Class 2 - Week 2: Reading and Comprehensions Tests.  Review verbs, pronouns, adverbs. 
Class 3 - Week 3: Reading and Comprehensions Tests.  Review verbs, pronouns, adverbs. 
Class 4 - Week 4: Reading and Comprehensions Tests.  Review adjectives and vocabulary. 
Class 5 - Week 5: Reading and Comprehensions Tests.  Review adjectives and vocabulary. 
Class 6 - Week 6: Reading and Comprehensions Tests. Review adjectives and vocabulary. 
Class 7 - Week 7: Subjunctive Tense "Congiuntivo"  - section 1. Review adjectives and vocabulary.
Class 8 - Week 8: Subjunctive Tense "Congiuntivo"  - section 2. Review adjectives and vocabulary.
Class 9 - Week 9: Imperfect Subjunctive. Review adjectives and vocabulary.
Class 10 - Week 10: Direct conversation

Classes include grammar instruction, as well as basic conversation and activities.  As students progress, they read short stories and listen to recorded materials and/or videos. A whiteboard will be used and shared digitally to the classroom for students to learn and review.
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is to continue learning the Italian language. Objective is to help students develop a stronger familiarity and comfort level with speaking and understanding the Italian language.
