Get kids excited about learning Italian at an early age through the Italian for Kids series! We will learn how to say vocabulary of items in a house and in the yard/ garden.

1-2 hours per week. Homework is optional. *Each time, we will review some from the last lesson. *Homework each week will be to review the new vocabulary. *Students will be given matching worksheets, coloring sheets, and/ or more.Assessment
There are no quizzes or tests. We review and engage in vocabulary (sometimes also mini-conversations together). Your student should expect to participate. If asked, I provide a certificate in pdf format for finishing the course.Class Experience
Building confidence is key to any foreign language, and that is what I will be doing through this class. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Italian for Kids is a series of classes that include learning vocabulary. Classes can be taken consecutively or not. We focus on vocabulary (more focus on conversation is in Italian for Beginners and Italian for Teens). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Week 1: We will learn 15 terms of items in bedrooms including bed, room, teddy bear, lamp, etc. Week 2: We will learn 15 terms of items in the bathroom including soap, toothbrush, sink, etc. Week 3: We will learn 13 terms of items in the living room such as TV, DVD player, armchair, sofa, etc. Week 4: We will learn 23 terms of items in the kitchen and dining room such as washing machine, toaster, ironing board, chair, table, etc. Week 5: We will learn 13 terms of items in the garden such as swimming pool, greenhouse, tree, flowers, plants, etc. *Each time, we will review the vocabulary from the last lesson. *Students will be given a PDF, fun worksheets, or colorings after each class, in order to review if they would like to. Homework is optional. *Schedule is subject to change. I will have more Italian classes coming soon! ------------------------------------------ (If you have older students, I have other Italian classes too: Italian for Beginners & Italian for Teens). *Also you can request a new time if you need a different time slot. (This course used to be called Italian for Kids 11).

Parental Guidance
If there is extra time, I will share some Italian songs via YouTube and the links will be in the classroom if students want to practice or watch it again. No account needed.
Supply List
You don't need to buy materials. Students will be given matching worksheets, coloring sheets, and/or more to help them review what they have learned. Therefore, a printer and crayons would be helpful but homework is optional, so this is not necessary.
