2-4 hours per week. Homework is optional. *Homework each day will be to review the new vocabulary and questions and how to answer them (I provide optional homeworks) *Students will be given matching worksheets, coloring sheets, and/ or more.Assessment
There are no quizzes or tests. We review and engage in vocabulary and mini-conversations together. Your student should expect to participate. If asked, I provide a certificate in pdf format for finishing the course.Class Experience
Building confidence is key to any foreign language, and that is what I will be doing through this class. This is a camp version which includes most of the information from Italian for Beginners 1 (a once a week course that goes for 7 classes). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Italian for Beginners is a series of classes that include learning vocabulary and short conversation questions and answers. Classes can be taken consecutively or not. We will try to do one conversation time each week. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Day 1: Students will learn Greetings Day 2-3: Students will learn Classroom Vocabulary Day 4-5: Students will learn City Vocabulary and directions End of day 5: Learn how to sing the Happy Birthday song in Italian ---------------------------------------------------- *Homework each day will be to review the new vocabulary and questions and how to answer them. *Students will be given a PDF, colorings, worksheets, etc. *Schedule is subject to change. ----------------------------------------------------- I will have more Italian classes coming soon! *Also you can request a new time if you need a different time slot.
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is to help students get excited and feel confident in learning Italian through learning vocabulary and small dialogues and help them learn a lot in a short amount of time while feeling confident about it.
