What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
This is a class for native speakers, advanced speakers or bilingual speakers! We will socialize using ONLY Italian while playing games, having fun quizzez and discussions. I am a native Italian speaker, and I grew up bilingual! In this class, we will use our Italian skills to have fun together. Students will be supported through interactive slides and games. We will begin class by introducing ourselves in Italian, then we will start our game and conversation. Students will receive printable material to play the in-class games offered if needed. If more than one learner is enrolled, students will also have the opportunity to talk to each other. The required experience for this class, is to know Italian enough to be able to converse and understand me. I will not be speaking any English in this class. The class will follow a pattern of: - Welcome! Introduce ourselves and talk about our week - Play a game - Conversation prompts and questions - Final game Each week has a different theme: Week of March 21st: All about me! We will focus on talking about ourselves and asking about others. Week of March 28th: All about food! We will talk about foods we like. Week of April 4th Animals are everywhere! We will discuss animals that the children like and we will play games about guessing the animals. Week of April 11th:: Ultimate game week! Students will play 4 different types of games that are famous in Italy. They are all charades or movement based. Week of April 18th: Would you rather? We will play would you rather about different topics such as school, animals, and food. We will also make our own would you rather questions. Week of April 25th: Seasons are fun! We will talk about the four seasons and discuss which season we like most. Games will revolve around the seasons. Week of May 2nd: I spy! We will practice finding objects through interactive games. Students will talk about different animals they have seen in their life. ***Class times are approximate. Class may end a few minutes late if we are finishing an activity. ***It is Outschool policy to verify the student's identity. You can turn your camera off in class, but I need to be able to see the video at the beginning of class unless the profile is verified. ***Parents need to stay off-camera because of Outschool policy. Thank you!
