US Grade 6 - 8
In this 7-week course, students will learn Algebra 1: Foundations of Algebra. All meetings will be live, and students will be asked to take notes on the covered topics. I am available for students to ask questions at any time via chat/message. Homework that is assigned to students, will be reviewed on the due date during the beginning of class. Any questions/concerns from students regarding assignments, will be covered in depth until full understanding is acquired. If a student needs extra assistance, outside of classroom meeting times, I will set aside a day and time to meet with the student one on one via zoom.

This course will utilize outside resources such as homework, videos, tests, etc. All outside resources used during the course, will be provided by me. All homework, quizzes, and tests will be issued using Classmarker. For this program, I will issue usernames and passwords on the first meeting day. Grades will kept online and sent to parents weekly. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! Thank you for viewing my page! I am so excited to be afforded the opportunity to teach students around the globe the importance of math!

My love for teaching started in high school. I attended Mississippi School of the Arts, where I received classical voice training. While attending school, I taught peer groups focusing on Algebra. After graduation, I attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where I focused on a Bachelor's degree in Middle School Education, Math and Science. I have tutored 1 on 1, taught study groups/classrooms, taught virtually, and hold over 10+ years experience of educating.

Through teaching, my goal is to not only educate the youth, but to also encourage them and inform them of real-world situations in which what they are learning would be applicable.

I am so excited to meet and teach each learner! We will have a great time!
