Class experience
In this introductory class, dancers will learn the basics of Irish dancing and perform fun choreography. The class will begin with stretching and warm up activities to get our bodies ready to move. We will then move on to learning some fun Irish dance choreography. We will "perform" our dance together as a group and learn how to take an Irish dance bow. I have been dancing in a variety of styles since I was very young and have been teaching dance since 2008.
Flexible shoes and clothing are recommended to allow for a good range of movement. Please ensure that dancers have a space free of any tripping hazards. Dancers are encouraged to have a water bottle nearby. This class will include a warm up and cool down, but additional stretching is encouraged if necessary. Dance at your own risk.
