Class experience
Irish dance is a fun and high-energy dance style! In this 4 week class, dancers will learn Irish dance choreography to fun and upbeat music. Each week a video will be posted with a new dance lesson. We will start each class with stretching and a warm up. Then, we will discuss the foundations of good technique followed by learning a short combination of Irish Dance steps. I have trained in many dance styles since I was very young and I have been teaching dance to children since 2008. Irish dance has always been my favorite dance style and I absolutely love sharing this fun and unique style with children from around the world.
Dancers should wear comfortable clothes and shoes (or bare feet) and have a small area free of any tripping hazards to dance in. Water is recommended and dancers may drink whenever they need to.
