Note: There are no prerequisites for private tutoring lessons Private one-on-one tutoring lessons allow a learner to dig deeper into specific topics and personalize their investing education. Some ideas include, • Drafting or updating an investing plan • Diving into a specific stock, an investment, or even a portfolio • Developing a personalized investing methodology • Researching a topic such as famous investors or big stock market crashes • Or even other ideas your learner might have Because tutoring lessons are personalized, they won’t be as structured as my regular classes. However, your learner and I will explore these topics together while taking notes or working on reports that he or she will keep. If you are interested, please reach out to me to discuss potential learning topics and set up a lesson time.

Parental Guidance
Private tutoring lessons develop deep knowledge of investing while being relevant to a learner’s investments or experience. However, private tutoring is not a replacement for financial advisors and investment managers. Learners should not be investing without substantial parental guidance and supervision. For learner safety, please conceal or redact personally identifiable information in anything shared on the screen or sent as a file.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a strong financial industry background. In terms of my educational credentials, I completed a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics from Boston University. I also earned a master’s degree in finance from Boston College and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. In my professional career, I have extensive working experience in the banking, commercial real estate, financial markets, and asset management sectors. I worked as an accountant, an analyst (risk, investment performance, reporting), a consultant, and an executive. I have published seven industry articles so far. In my current role, I focus on consulting, teaching investing, and producing investor educational materials.
