An economics class explaining why people invest, how the stock market works, and how inflation affects us all.

US Grade 7 - 10
Students will learn why people choose to invest their money. We will discuss some of the ways investing can occur and talk about saving and borrowing. We will look at the banking system and interest rates. Finally, we will discuss personal risk tolerance levels and couple that with decisions like investing in the stock market. Students will have an opportunity to participate in an online stock simulation game, which will give them an idea of what is it like to invest in stocks. There...
