The head teacher of RPG Club, Adam Scott, is a licensed, career classroom teacher who taught AP Economics, Personal Finance, and Business for almost 15 years. He is a business owner who believes in the power of financial education in helping students achieve independence. His company employs 30+ individuals and is approaching seven figures in annual earnings. His MAT is in Social Studies education with an emphasis on Economics and American History instruction.
Students need to have a general business idea, or at least have an interest in entrepreneurship. This is not a "what is business?" introduction.
We will discuss real world concepts such as markets, money, and building wealth. We will approach this rationally, with a goal to maximizing profits. Consumer psychology, market mechanisms, and advertising approaches will be discussed.
