Description

Class Experience

Young children will continually increase their developmental skills of fine-motor development as they work with the clay in their hands: squeezing it, rolling it, pinching it. In addition, they will develop their creativity and build upon their sense of imagination. Working with clay ( air-dry clay) is a very sensory-rich learning experience; it provides the young learner opportunity to explore its properties while learning about their own abilities of strength and creation.
The main materials & supplies that you will need are: air-dry clay, and paper plates or cardboard for the works to rest and dry on
A supply list of suggested materials and resources will be provided upon registration located in the classroom section
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
